1. Introduction
In order to work with the NucleoLink Application Guide an Internet browser is required. Microsoft Internet browsers for Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 are included on the NucleoLink Application Guide CD-ROM. The use of the browser is explained in the "Help" option, that can be selected in the top bar of the browser window.

The NucleoLink Application guide is composed of a range of texts which are designed as Internet web pages. All web pages can be reached from the Knowledge Base, which can be selected from the row of buttons on the left side of the screen. A total of 50 web pages can be selected from the Knowledge Base, which is divided into nine main subjects.

Furthermore, the contents of the web pages can be found using the Index, which can also be selected from the buttons on the left side of the screen. In order to find the correct object in the Index a search facility can be used. The facility to search through a web page is based on the applied Internet browser. The search routine to use with the Microsoft Internet Explorer is described below.

2. Microsoft Internet Explorer
The web pages of the NucleoLink Application Guide are designed with three different frames or windows. The text contained in the web pages is presented in the largest frame. In order to search that text, the frame must be activated. This is done by moving the mouse cursor into the frame, and clicking the left mouse button once.

After activation of the text in the large frame, the search facility can be activated by pressing "Ctrl + F", or by selecting the "Find" option from the menu that appears when "Edit" is pressed in the top bar of the browser window.

The word to search may then be entered in the "Find" dialog box, and the search can start.

If the initial search does not provide the correct result, the optimal thing to do is to make the search again with a shorter word or with a different word of the same meaning.
