This wizard will help you set your home location. Simply choose your country and then enter the data asked for. When entering city names please use the 'international' or English version of the name. For example do not use any accented characters. Simply select your country from the list provided. Then enter the data it asks for and your approximate home location will be set. The home location does not need to be perfectly accurate, within 20 kilometers or so is fine. The setting of your home location has absolutely no effect on the results of the trace or the accuracy of node placement past your 'home' node. If you need to change your location open the Options dialog and the Map tab. Pressing the Set Home Location button will display the Home Location Wizard. If you live in a country for which the wizard cannot accept city or postal code data, or you wish to enter a more precise location, press the 'Advanced' button on the wizard. If using the advanced dialog be sure to enter the values as decimal and set the correct east/west north/south values. |
